Great Fortune piece written by a thoughtful woman executive who has found a way to be fair to herself. Note the powerful example of negative self talk she first had for herself when her baby was born: “Within her [my baby’s] first week, I became consumed by the idea that my career was over. It was almost as if my former self was telling me I was worthless because I wouldn’t be able to continue sitting in an office for ten hours a day.” So glad she has been able to gain important perspective and shift her thinking about herself.
